Shaun White Does NOT Medal In Sochi Olympics

…Can’t win em’ all, I guess.

27 year old Olympic medalist snowboarder, Shaun White failed to medal in Men’s Half pipe competition in Sochi. White previously withdrew from the Men’s Slope Style competition 2 days before he was to compete. It’s rumored he did this because he was scared he’d lose. White placed 4th in Men’s Half Pipe.

Russian, Iouri Podladtchikov (I-Pod) took gold and Japanese pair, Ayumu Hirano and Taku Hiraoka won silver and bronze.

When asked how he felt, White replied

“I’m disappointed, I hate the fact I nailed it in practice, but it happens. It’s hard to be consistent.”
