Back in December Diplo dropped a hint about a genre-shaking mashup that was underway, a song that featured PSY‘s “Gangnam Style” and the vocals of ATL club-king 2 Chainz.

Diplo’s latest remix gives new life to PSY’s pop sound. But now that the song has hit the net, what does the producer really think of the monster he created? The song, which is part of PSY’s latest EP Gangnam Style (Remix Style) includes the vocals of 2 Chainz and Tyga, who trade verses over the Diplo-helmed track.

In December, Diplo spilled the beans on Twitter about the collabo: “no lie i just finished something with @psy_oppa and @2chainz the mayan calendar predicted this.”

While the song was released on Tuesday (March 5), on Monday Diplo offered a comment on remixes.

“When I’m by myself in a hotel room I just count all the s***** remixes I’m finishing and deadlines I’m missing to fall asleep,” he tweeted.
