Chad Kroger said that he will marry Avril Lavigne on July 1^st, which also happens to be an important day for their fellow Canadians-it’s Canada Day.

Kroger said: “We think it’s very cool that our anniversary will always be on Canada Day. We can’t wait to start our life together.”

Kroeger also admitted he doesn’t care what people think about his relationship with Lavigne.

He said: “I try not to take too much interest in the world’s opinion of our relationship. I just know the both of us are very happy.”

Before they walk down the aisle, Kroeger and his band will hit the road with Daughtry. Avril has an open invitation to hang out with her fiancé on the road.

Kroger said: “She’ll come over and spend some time when she’s got time. They’re going to throw a lot of stuff on her plate with the new record.”

We wish them well, but seriously, how long do we give them?
