In a post on their website, Grammy Award-winning rock group No Doubt revealed the artwork for “Settle Down,” the debut single off their highly anticipated new album Push and Shove. Push and Shove will be released on Interscope Records September 25th.
“Settle Down” will be released July 16th with the video premiering the same day. No Doubt shot the video for “Settle Down” in Los Angeles with their longtime friend and collaborator Sophie Muller. Sophie has been behind the lens for many of No Doubt’s music videos including “Don’t Speak,” “Underneath It All,” “Sunday Morning” and “Simple Kind of Life”.
Push and Shove was recorded at Mix Suite LA with producer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent. Also featured on the album is a collaboration with Major Lazer on the title track. This is the band’s sixth album and will be released 11 years after their previous album, “Rock Steady”. After the hiatus, the band’s 2009 tour drawing over 750,000 fans throughout the U.S. proved that they were far from through.
No Doubt will kick off the launch of new single “Settle Down” with a string of television appearances beginning July 22nd at the TEEN CHOICE 2012 Awards. They’ll visit Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on July 26th followed by a performance at Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series on July 27th..
