Suzie is a 12-year-old Terrier mix.
She was brought to the APL by one of our Humane Investigation officer because he owner could no longer care for her. She had severe skin condition and hair loss over majority of her body.
Suzie was in extreme discomfort and would barely move. She has been in foster care for nearly 4 months, and has been treated with antibiotics, anti-histamines, and a special diet. Suzie also had an ear infection that has left her deaf.
After 4 months of care, including numerous blood panels that had to be run on her, Suzie’s hair has started to grow back; she’s feisty and her foster mom has fallen in love with her and will be adopting her.
