O’Malley Before / Photo Courtesy of Cleveland APL
O’Malley is a 3-yr-old cat who was brought to the APL by a Good Samaritan who had been feeding the stray cat after he showed up injured one day.
His face was swollen and he had a bloody discharge from one eye. O’Malley was extremely underweight, was suffering from an upper respiratory infection, had ear mites, and had an infected abscess across one side of his face that was forcing his eye shut.
Once at the APL, the wounds were cleaned and drained, and O’Malley was given fluids, antibiotics and lots of TLC.
After 2 weeks of care, O’Malley was available for adoption and found his forever home just 5 days later.
How can you help the Cleveland APL during our Pledge For Pets Radiothon? You can donate online now, call 216-566-7387 to make a donation by phone, or visit the APL and consider adopting a new member for your family!
