Marchesi is a 1½ year-old Chihuahua who was transferred to the APL from the City of Cleveland Kennel.

He had serious burns over a large section of back. Marchesi was in pain and required antibiotics, pain medication, and treatment for his burns for several weeks.

He was lucky enough to spend most of that time in the home of a loving APL Foster Care family, where we learned he was housebroken and great with kids.

Despite his still-healing wounds and patches where his hair had yet to grow back, Marchesi’s inner beauty came through and he was adopted 3 days after being placed on the adoption floor.
