Louie is a five-year-old cat who was brought to the Cleveland APL last October by a Good Samaritan.
Louie suffered a severe injury to his face and had a broken jaw. Louie underwent surgery at the APL to wire his jaw shut so he could heal. He was on a liquid-only diet, but despite his pain, was a loving, happy cat.
Louie was soon well enough to continue his recovery in the home of a loving APL Foster Care Volunteer. When Louie was ready to find a new family, he was taken to one of our offsite adoption partners, the Beachwood PETCO.
He was soon adopted, and Louie spent the holidays at home with his new “dad.”
