Ginger is a sweet 5-month-old Boxer mix who was brought to us because her owner could not afford to take care of her.

She had a leg that was broken so badly, our veterinary team determined the only option was amputation.

After a month of rehabilitation, pain medication, antibiotics and love from an APL Foster Care family, Ginger was happy, wiggly, and ready to be adopted.

A dog-walking volunteer family met her, fell in love, and took her home.
